Upper Street have partnered with new online destination boutique SaintBustier.com, the first ever retailer to provide tried and tested designer fashion specifically for larger busted women who have a bra cup size of D – H, but who wear standard clothing sizes.

To launch their website, they organised a photoshoot and asked Upper Street to provide a selection of our handmade, individual shoes to compliment their beautiful clothing line. Sarah McGiven, Head of PR at Saint Bustier said: “We chose Upper Street shoes as we love the fact that it’s inclusive and exclusive at the same time – we believe everyone should have access to stylish, well-fitting, quality fashion and Upper Street reflects this ethos with it’s varied sizing and being able to create your very own designs (as well as having the most beautiful packaging!)”

We had exclusive access to their photo shoot and can give you a peek behind the scenes.

We are very excited to see the finished pictures! The shoes compliment the outfits’ femininity and glamour perfectly. These cobalt blue snakeskin platform courts with triple strap will turn heads!

Note for this season: glitter leggings and nude platform peep toes are the next big thing. For extra playfulness go with a nude patent platform court with a bow on the front.

We love this look. Perfect for the office or a lunch with your girlfriends. Navy is not as harsh as black, but is extremely elegant and timeless. Here at Upper Street we’ve got our eyes firmly fixed on the lower heel trend this season – when the catwalks suggest that we should walk around in style and comfort all day, we’re not going to disagree.

As seen at Valentino, Richard Nicoll and Moschino Cheap & Chic, a fabulous shoe that you can walk, run and skip in should you desire is very appealing to any shoe lover. The 3 inch demi heel gives added height but you can walk comfortably in it – courts and peep toe styles are both practical choices for AW12.

Natural snakeskin peep toe

Natural snakeskin is a great way to wear neutrals and when it comes to accessories, its a perennial classic. These natural snakeskin peep toes with a black snakeskin heel and silver metal buckle would make the perfect heel to take you effortlessly from work wear through to the evening. This design is also available with a 1.5″ and 3.75″ heel height – just select your choice at the checkout stage.

Camel gold patent round toe court

This elegant glossy camel patent round toe court design is given a luxe update with a gold snakeskin heel and asymmetrical panel of gold snakeskin and leopard print. We’d wear these with dresses and skirts by day but they’d also look amazing with skinny jeans for an evening out.

Snakeskin kitten sandal

The classic kitten heel is re-designed by Grazia’s Deputy Fashion News and Features Editor, Hannah Almassi. Hannah used natural snakeskin on a simple front and easy back strap design then put her own stamp on the shoe with a red snakeskin bow and heel – we love!

Go low without going flat. Our 1.5 inch peep toe option gives an elegant lift – great for a more sophisticated shoe when flat is simply too casual.

Burgundy peep toe

This rich boozy hue is still a big hit this season to these burgundy patent leather peep toes with a snakeskin counter back and bow make for the perfect AW12 shoe. Wear with chic tailoring to the office or pair with a little black dress right through the party season.

The mood for AW12 is one of richness if the runways at Christopher Kane, Lanvin and Emporio Armani were anything to go by and we’re very happy about one particular trend. Here at Upper Street we’re passionate about purple – it’s such a luxurious colour to wear; perfect for head to toe this winter or in splashes of luxe accents.

This week’s Shoe Design of the Week was chosen for two very specific reasons. Firstly we wanted to show you our new Luxe Metallic snakeskin and Lindsay is one of the first customers to design using it and secondly, Lindsay’s fabulous shoes highlight that beautiful, stylish design doesn’t have to be sacrificed if you want a low heel. So over to Lindsay to share her shoe design story with you all.

Tell us a little about yourself
Hi I’m Lindsay Pattison, I live in South Kensington and run a media agency in London called Maxus. I love my job which is good news since it takes up much of my time, but I also love eating out, seeing my friends and godchildren and having recently renovated our house, interior design

What inspired your shoe design?

I loved the material – it’s a really cool snakeskin with a metallic finish which is both on-trend but different to what you could find on the High Street. I wanted stylish shoes but with a low-ish heel, so I can wear them to work and feel ‘dressed up’,but also be able to walk. Upper Street helped me design them as I went to the Studio which was really helpful.

What did you think of your shoes when you received them?
Even better than hoped. I love the result!

Have you worn your shoes yet? What did your friends think?
I have just started to wear them now summer is finally here… friends and colleagues have definitely noticed them so Upper Street could be getting a few more customers.
